Being a single mom, having a routine is essential for my families day to day lives. This past year, we have had so many changes that affected our overall routine. For starters, we relocated from Delaware to Georgia exactly one year ago, my daughters returned back to in person school, attended a new school, all while I worked around the clock. This momma was burned out that somethings just got out of control.

With the New Year being days away, I’m looking forward to incorporating a routine that includes prioritizing rest, decluttering and organizing our home. First, on my list is decluttering and to organizing our pantry. Decluttering has been known to help with the following:

  • Reduce stress and anxiety.
  • Improve your sleep.
  • Makes it easier to clean and keep tidy.
  • Save money.
  • Discover items you may have thought you lost.
  • Amplify productivity and creativity.
  • And more!

When selecting the storage containers, for my pantry, it was very important for me to have items that were BPA- free, that was airtight to keep my ingredients fresher longer, dish washer safe, and that came with labels.

You can find the items that I found for my affiliate link .

Here is a look at the before and after of my pantry I must say, I started off feeling overwhelmed, but once I finished, I noticed an immediate difference in my peace of mind.

If you are someone that feels all over the place at times, I strongly suggest decluttering mentally and physically in your life.

It is something about clutter that has me all over the place. So it will be one of my intentions this year as well
